Know where your context goes.

Local and cloud deployments have different responsibilities. Here is what Orvunia does, what depends on your providers, and what you need to verify.

On your computer

Personal mode stores data in SQLite and local files. It does not require an account, PostgreSQL, or Redis. The desktop app prepares and supervises its local backend.

Local does not mean all AI runs on your computer. The data needed for transcription or answers is sent to the provider you configure. Check that provider's terms and retention policy.

Audio, screen, and camera

Transcription uses the audio sources you authorize. Screenshots and documents can contain sensitive information; review what you send as context.

Raw audio is not persisted by default. Gaze following is optional and requires camera permission and calibration. This website and its demos do not request those permissions.

Window protection

The Windows 11 desktop app requests native capture protection for its windows. Supported capture paths can omit the overlay from the shared view while it remains visible to you. This is not a guarantee across every recorder or screen-sharing tool.

Test with the same platform, monitor, and sharing application you intend to use. Browser capabilities differ from the desktop application's native features.

In Orvunia Cloud

Orvunia Cloud is operated by ZapyFlow Tecnologia LTDA. Account history and files are stored on its private backend, which verifies identity and resource ownership. Audio, text and images needed for AI requests go to managed providers.

Cloud uses a separate account and server-side provider credentials. Its server source and operating configuration are private; the public desktop core remains independent and can use your own provider keys without an Orvunia login.

Keys and deletion

Do not share keys in screenshots, URLs, or repositories. Provider configuration belongs in the backend and the installation's credential storage.

Deleting application data and expiring backups are separate processes. Backup retention and data already sent to providers depend on the operation and each service's agreements.

This website

This marketing website includes no third-party trackers or data-collection forms. Its demo uses illustrative content and makes no model requests.

The server or hosting provider may produce access logs. External links follow their destinations' policies. ZapyFlow Tecnologia LTDA operates this site and Orvunia Cloud; contact [email protected] for account or privacy questions and [email protected] for billing questions.
