1. Your installation
The free, open-source local app runs its backend on your computer and stores workspace data in SQLite and local files. It requires no Orvunia login; you configure your own providers and API keys. Local storage is not a substitute for device encryption, access control or backups.
2. Audio, images and references
The app processes the audio sources and context you select. Using transcription or answer generation sends the required audio, text, images or reference context to your configured provider. Local installation does not make those remote requests stay on-device.
3. Credentials and providers
In local mode, you bring your own provider keys and pay those providers separately. Orvunia Cloud uses managed providers with credentials kept on its private server. Provider processing and retention terms apply to the context sent to them. Never include keys in exported conversations or public repositories.
4. History and deletion
You control the history retained in your local workspace. Export useful material before deleting it. Backups and exported files are separate copies; deleting a conversation does not automatically erase those copies or data retained by an external provider.
5. Orvunia Cloud
Orvunia Cloud is operated by ZapyFlow Tecnologia LTDA. Its private backend processes account, history, file and usage data and sends the context needed for transcription and generation to managed providers. The public desktop core does not include the hosted server source, operating configuration or provider credentials. Contact privacy and account support at [email protected].
6. This website
The interactive demonstrations run in your browser and use example content. The event demonstration records event names in memory, never typed values. They do not call transcription or model providers. A hosting operator may process ordinary HTTP request logs according to its hosting configuration.
